Why do you shoot film, Emma?
I shoot film as it makes me slow down and think about the shot as I have a limited amount to take. Digital photography turns us into 'photo whores', shooting, reshooting, directing until that moment in life is perfectly captured, I have seen a child blow out the candles on their birthday cake four times, until they have done it 'just right'! With film you get one shot and you wait for the results - life should never be replayed!
Film is beautiful, life with texture, each picture is purposeful, valued, precious.
